Ryan took the next step in his wrestling career by becoming an All-American with a Fourth-Place finish at the National Tournament. Ryan lost by one point in the 2004 National Semi-Finals…He has the talen to take the next step and win the National Championship.
Freshman Season (2000-2001)
Took a red-shirt.
Red-Shirt Freshman Season (2001-2002)
Recorded a 5-5 overall record with three decisions, one fall and one default victory in his first season…named Honorable Mention NWCA All-Academic Wrestling Team.
Sophomore Season (2002-2003)
Ryan burst onto the collegiate wrestling scene after joining Coach Pecora’s starting line-up midway through the season…recorded a 17-5 overall record and an 11-1 overall record…placed 2nd at East Regional Tournament and was a National Qualifier…placed 4th at Slippery Rock Open…First Team NWCA Academic Wrestling Team selection.
Junior Season (2003-2004)
Ryan posted a 26-8 overall record and a 16-3 dual meet record on his way to placing 4th at the National Tournament…placed third at East Regional Tournament…named First Team NWCA All-Academic Wrestling Team…his 26 overall wins tied his for fourth and his 16 dual meet victories was third on the team…Ryan was also tied for third with 20 decision wins.

2000 State Place 6th at Claysburg-Kimmel High School… senior season record of 35-4…career record of 106-25….two-time District Champion…Regional Champion in 1999 and Runner-up in 2000…2000 Central Mountain Tournament Champion.
