We'd like to update you on some staffing changes in the Academic Support Center.
Kristen Schmenke is our new Coordinator of Tutoring Services. She is helping with all personal, group, drop-in, and Supplemental Instruction initatives. Kristen is also an Area Coordinator in the Office of Residence Life. She is being assisted with administrative matters this year by Jesse Stratton. Please feel free to contact her with any of your tutoring questions and needs.
Jake Harper, also an Area Coordinator in Residence Life, is coordinating all activities with respect to our First-Year Success Program. Please feel free to chat with him regarding questions you might have about this program.
Jilliane Bolt has joined Dr. Gonder's office as a graduate assistant; she is enrolled in the prestigious SAHE program at IUP. She will be working with the SPURS and SOS programs, helping reinstated students, and assisting with first-year experience initiatives.
Prof. Susan Dawkins, formerly the Assistant Director of the Center, has moved to a new position as Coordinator of Tutoring and Testing in the Center for Academic Enrichment at Clarion University. We miss her helpfulness and insight here, but wish her the best of success in her new challenges. Thank you, Susan!
