Computer Labs:

Open hours vary from lab to lab. Please check the postings at each facility for up-to-date hours or view the Computer Lab Schedules page. Labs can be reserved.

Technology Ready Classrooms (TRC):

All TRC’s are equipped with lab based Windows PC’s, Document Visualizers, VCR’s, DVD and CD Players, microphones, overhead projectors, video projectors and large size electronic screens. Laser Disc players and slide projectors are available as special requests. TRC's can be reserved.

Reserve a computer lab or TRC:

To have a course permanently assigned to a computer lab or TRC, the request must be submitted to the Registrar’s Office through a Department Chairperson when courses are submitted for scheduling.

 

To reserve a computer lab or TRC for a single class period, contact the PJIT Support Desk. Labs and TRC’s are scheduled on a first-come-first-serve basis subject to availability.

Classroom Network Access:

All Pitt-Johnstown classrooms are equipped for network/Internet access. Laptop computers and portable video projectors are available for loan and classroom setup. Please contact the PJIT Support Desk.

Reserve a laptop computer and/or video projector:

Laptop computers and portable video projectors are available for loan to students, faculty and staff for class presentations, workshops and conferences. Please contact the PJIT Support Desk.

Reserve audio visual equipment:

Contact the PJIT Support Desk.

Request videotaping, video rental or tape duplication:

Contact the PJIT Support Desk.

Request photography services:

Contact Rick Povich at x7103, 228 Blackington Hall.

Hardware and software training needs:

Contact the PJIT Support Desk for hardware, software or CourseInfo training requests.

Request a telephone or network port:

To request a new phone or network port please contact the PJIT Support Desk. General problems should be reported by calling the PJIT Support Desk at 814-269-7548.

To arrange for a cell phone or investigate University sponsored calling plans contact Mrs. Linda Leech-Just at x7104, 114 Biddle Hall.

Voice mail - Audix:

To arrange for Audix, Voice mail service or to report problems with existing your service, contact the PJIT Support Desk at 814-269-7548.

Video Conferencing:

This includes Polycom and Skype online conferences: contact The Murtha Center at x2099.
