In order to qualify for disability services, a student must do the following:
- Request a meeting with the Coordinator of Disability Services at the ASC to register as a student with a disability.
- Complete a Disability Registration Form (available at the ASC).
- Meet with the Coordinator of Disability Services to discuss the student’s specific disability and how it affects his/her academic environment and performance.
- Present current, appropriate documentation of the disability to the ASC.
Note: The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown does not offer or pay for diagnostic or psychometric testing for disabilities. We will refer interested students to local psychologists who are qualified to perform such testing.
| Disability services are free of charge for students with qualifying disabilities who have registered with the Academic Support Center. In order to begin receiving disability services, students must initiate contact with the ASC. |
