There are very many web sites that provide excellent information. You are encourage to truly become an expert with regard to LGBT issues, with particular regard to those issues having relevance to YOU!

PERSAD

The mission of the PERSAD Center is to imporve the well-being of lesbian, gay and transgendered individuals, people who are HIV+ and their loved ones. Their services are confidential and are available regardless of an individual's ability to pay.

Programs and services include:

  • Emotional & mental health
  • Substance abuse treatment
  • HIV / AIDS
  • Intimate partner abuse
  • Transgendered services
  • Youth and family
  • Well-being services (e.g. coupling, parenting, family relationships, sex, spirituality and health issues)
  • Training and education
  • Research
