Kayla was a four-year letter winner who scored 1,488 career points at Conemaugh Valley High School. She averaged 15.5 points and 7.3 rebounds per game and shot 54.5% from the field as a senior. Kayla was a three-time West PAC First Team All-Conference selection and the recipient of her high school’s Student-Athlete Award in 2007. She also helped lead her team to a PIAA Class A State Runner-up finish in 2006, two West PAC championships and a pair of District 6 titles.
Along with basketball, Kayla was a four-year letter winner in softball and a three-year letter winner in volleyball.
In addition to playing basketball at Pitt Johnstown, Kayla is also a member of the Lady Cat volleyball team.
She was coached by Teri Cruse at Conemaugh Valley High School.
