The 30th anniversary tour of Ain’t Misbehavin’, the Fats Waller Broadway show that won the Tony Award for Best Musical, features American Idol winner Ruben Studdard and Rent’s Frenchie Davis. This rollicking, swinging, finger-snapping revue highlights the outrageously prodigious comic and musical soul of 1930s Harlem. Ain’t Misbehavin’ serves as a tribute to the black musicians who were part of the Harlem Renaissance, an era of growing creativity, cultural awareness, and ethnic pride.
