President's Staff Awards for Excellence in Service

Members of the UPJ Community:

 

I am proud and honored to continue the President’s Staff Awards for Excellence in Service - a rich legacy created years ago to celebrate the tremendous accomplishments of our valuable staff at Pitt Johnstown.  I encourage you to nominate staff members who continually exhibit an enthusiastic spirit of dedication in their work and exceptional community volunteerism.

 

You are welcome to nominate employees for the following awards:

 

Award for Excellence in Service to UPJ - recognizes staff members whose

commitment and perseverance to UPJ have made a substantial organizational impact.

 

Excellence in Service to UPJ Criteria

Excellence in Service to UPJ Nomination Form

 

Award for Excellence in Service to the Community – acknowledges staff members

 whose work have gone beyond the boundaries of UPJ and have made an extensive

 impression in the community.

 

Excellence in Service to Community Criteria 

 Excellence in Service to the Community Nomination Form

 

All staff, faculty, students, and alumni of UPJ may submit nominations for both awards.  Additionally, members of the community at large are invited to submit nominations for the Award for Excellence in Service to the Community.  One award of $1,000 may be granted in each category.

 

All nominations should be submitted to Mrs. Andrea Leibfreid, Chair of the Selection Committee, 104 Krebs Hall, no later than Wednesday, November 7, 2007.

 

Thanks to the work that our staff contributes to our institution and to our community, Pitt Johnstown has earned a well-deserved reputation for excellence. I appreciate your participation in this process by nominating a worthy staff member as we continue to build on our 80-year strong foundation of excellence and service.  I look forward to presenting the awards on December 18th at our annual staff luncheon.
