Zach posted a 6-6 overall record and a 2-0 dual meet record with three falls and three decisions in his first season.
Sophomore Season (2003-2004)
Zach joined Coach Pecora’s starting line-up and recorded a 27-7 overall record and an 18-3 dual meet record on his way to winning the championship at the East Region Tournament and qualifying for the National Tournament…had 23 decisions, three falls and one default victory…placed fourth at West Virginia Open.
Junior Season (2004-2005)
Zach posted a 17-7 overall record and an 11-5 dual meet record in just one semester of wrestling...of his 17 wins, 13 came by way of decision, three by fall and one by technical fall...won East Regional Championship and advanced to National Tournament...placed sixth at 2004 Wilkes Open.
Senior Season (2005-2006)
Zach recorded a 22-9 overall record and a 15-5 dual meet record on his way to placing second at the East Regional Tournament and earning his third trip to the National Tournament. Of his 22 wins, 18 can by way of decision. Zach also placed third at the 2005 Slippery Rock Open.
High School
Four-year letterman…PA State place winner (7th in 2000)…two-time PA State Qualifier…three-time Regional Qualifier…two-time Section, WPIAL and Regional Runner-up…senior season record of 31-9 and an overall career record of 84-34.
