Mike joined the starting line-up and became an All-American by placing fourth at the National Tournament...had a 27-22 overall record and an 11-13 dual meet record...his 27 overall victories was tied for second on the team...of his 27 victories, 13 were by decision, eight by major decision, three by fall and three by default...placed third at East Regional Tournament and third at 2004 Wilkes Open.
Sophomore Season (2005-2006)
Mike improved on his fourth place finish at the 2005 National Tournament with an impressive National Runner-up finish...ended the year with a 33-11 overall record and a 21-7 dual meet record...had 16 decisions, seven major decisions, a team-best five technical falls, three falls and two defaults...Mike also won the East Regional championship.
Junior Season (2006-2007)
Mike held the nation’s #1 ranking at 184 lbs. the entire regular season on his way to finishing second at the East Regional Tournament and fourth at the National Tournament...his 36-3 overall record and 22-0 dual meet record paced the team, while his 96 career wins rank him 20th on the Mountain Cat All-Time Win List….broke Ethan Brownback’s (1999-00) school record for wins in a regular season (29)...won titles at Washington & Jefferson Open and Wilkes Open.

Four-year letterman…2003 team MVP…career record of 129-29…2003 PA State Place 3rd…2001 PA State Qualifier…holds school record for career wins with 129 and career takedowns with 402…led team to 2003 State Runner-Up finish and WPIAL Runner-up finishes in 2000 and 2002.
