As a Lady Cat
     In 2006-07 as a red-shirt sophomore, Krista played in all 29 games and proved to be a spark off of Head Coach Jodi Gualt’s bench.  She averaged 3.4 points and 3.2 rebounds in nearly 14 minutes per game.  Her 3.2 rebounds were fifth on the team, while her 3.4 points ranked sixth on the team.  Krista shot 43.0% (40-93) from the field and 69.2% (18-26) from the free-throw line.  She also collected 13 steals, nine assists and six blocked shots.
    
Twice during the 2006-07 season Krista led the Lady Cats in rebounding, including pulling down a career-high eight rebounds and scoring a career-high 15 points in an 83-68 home win over West Virginia Wesleyan College on February 5, 2007.  She also grabbed seven rebounds to pace the team at Shepherd (WV) University on February 19, 2007.  Along with her career-high of 15 points, Krista scored 10 points on two other occasions.
    
Krista made her Lady Cat debut in 2005-06 after red-shirting as a true freshman in 2004-05.  In 17 games-played, she scored four points and grabbed nine rebounds.  Krista also had two assists, made one steal and blocked one shot.
     Along with playing basketball, Krista is also a member of the Lady Cat track and field team.

At Westmont Hilltop High School
     Krista was a three-year basketball letter winner who ended her high school career with 633 points and 442 career rebounds, despite sitting out her senior season with an injury.  She scored 315 points and grabbed 231 rebounds as a junior to lead her team to a 2002-03 District VI-AA Runner-up finish.
    
Krista let the team in scoring and rebounding in 2002 and 2003 and earned Most Valuable Player honors at the Bellwood-Antis and Hilltopper Classic Tournaments. 
    
She was also named Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference (LHAC) Honorable Mention All-Conference as a sophomore and earned the Sewak Award for Outstanding Girl’s Basketball Player in 2003.  In 2004, Krista was named Westmont Hilltop’s Female Athlete of the Year.  Krista was a member of the Johnstown Lady Hoopsters AAU team from 1998 through 2003 and a member of the Keystone State Games gold medalist team in 2001.
    
In addition to basketball, Krista was also a three-year letter winner in volleyball and track. She placed second in LHAC and fifth at District VI shot put championships in 2003.
    
Krista was a member of the Honor Roll, Academic Letter, Art Club and Hockey Club.
    
She was coached by Ernie Fetzer and Jodi Hillegass at Westmont Hilltop High School.
