Kaitlin transferred to Pitt Johnstown last year after playing in 22 games as a freshman at Bloomsburg University during the 2005-06 season. In those 22 games, she averaged 4.3 points per game. Kaitlin also had 50 assists and 23 steals. She recorded a career-high 12 points at Cheyney University on January 21, 2006.
At Westmont Hilltop High School
Kaitlin was a four-year letter winner and three-year starter who scored over 1,000 points in her high school career. She was selected to play in the 2005 Big John Riley Classic All-Star Game and was a two-time recipient of the Sewak Award for the school’s outstanding girl’s basketball player. Kaitlin helped lead the Hilltoppers to a PIAA State Runner-Up finish in 2005, a District 6 Second Place finish and a Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference Championship. Along with basketball, Kaitlin was a 4-year letter winner in both cross country and track. She won three District 6 titles in the 800m, and was a three-time PIAA State medalist in the 800m with second, fourth and third place finishes. She played for Head Coach Jodi Hillegas at Westmont Hilltop High School.
