At Pitt Johnstown

2006-07 Season      
    
Quinton started all 30 games and was Pitt Johnstown’s third leading scorer at 11.4 ppg. and rebounder at 5.0 rpg.  He led the Mountain Cats in free-throw percentage at 83.9% (52-62), three-point field goal percentage at 49.5% (51-103) and steals (46), and was second in three-point field goals-made (51).  He was also third on the team in assists (2.4 apg.) and blocks (16).  Quinton’s 49.5% three-point goal percentage was the best in the WVIAC.  Quinton paced Pitt Johnstown in scoring four times, rebounding seven times and assists four times.  He also scored in double figures 20 times, grabbed five or more rebounds 17 times and dished out four or more assists eight times.  In two seasons, has career-highs of 27 points against Concord (WV) University on 01/13/07, 11 rebounds against West Liberty State (WV) College on 11/18/06 and eight assists against the University of the District of Columbia on 02/10/07.   

2005-06 Season
     Quinton made two starts and played in all 27 Mountain Cat games as a red-shirt freshman.  He averaged 4.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 14 minutes per game.  He shot 43.0% (46-107) from the field, 30.0% (9-30) from behind the three-point line and 74.4% (32-43) from the free-throw line.  Three times Quinton led or tied for the team lead in rebounds.  He scored in double figures four times and had five or more rebounds nine times.  Through one season, Quinton posted highs of 20 points against Mount Aloysius College on 02/13/06, seven rebounds on two occasions and five assists against Penn State-Harrisburg on 12/09/05. 

At West Mifflin Area High School
     Quinton played for former Pitt Johnstown assistant basketball coach Lance Maha at West Mifflin Area High School where he averaged 14 points, six rebounds and three assists per game as a senior.  Quinton, a senior team captain, was named a 2004 AAAA Section V All-Star and was selected to play in the Chartiers Valley Hoops for Cure All-Star Game where he scored 17 points and added five rebounds and four assists.  He scored a career-high 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds against South Allegheny High School during the 2003-04 season.  Quinton also graduated from high school with honors and earned the Dan Filo Scholarship for the combination of best athlete with the best academics.
