Academic Honors Convocation

Article Body
On Sunday, March 17, the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown held its annual Academic Honors Convocation. This special event recognizes the individual achievements of our students in a variety of academic fields. I would like to personally congratulate each of the honorees for their contributions to our university and to commend them for their exemplary effort. This year, I was also pleased to welcome Mr. Edward A. Dobson, P.G, as our convocation speaker. Mr. Dobson is President and Principal Hydrogeologist of Mountain Research, Inc., and a 1980 graduate of UPJ. As a former student, he was able to relate to the honorees and to impart practical wisdom on developing a successful career.
