Danny played for Head Coach Clinton Perrow at Archbishop Carroll High School in Washington, D.C., where he earned Honorable Mention All-Washington Catholic Athletic Conference honors as a junior and Second Team All-Conference accolades as a senior. Danny also earned Most Valuable Player honors in a preliminary game after scoring 26 points in the prestigious McDonalds Capitol Classic held at the University of Maryland. In 2006-07, Danny averaged 13.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game. He posted career-highs of 26 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists all against Dematha High School. Academically, Danny was an honor student at Archbishop Carroll High School.
