Responsibilities:
Teaching duties will include both (a) laboratories for Chemistry for the Health Professions, (b) laboratories for General Chemistry I and II; supervise work-study students and maintain instrumentation for introductory laboratory courses.
Qualifications:
B.S. and (earned) M.S. in chemistry and a demonstrated commitment to teaching undergraduates through experience, excellence in oral and written communication skills and evidence of experience in modern laboratory instrumentation. Ability to teach chemistry labs should be documented by at least one of the following: peer review of teaching or student evaluations. Industrial experience a plus.
Starting Date: Fall 2008
