The diligence and hard work of our faculty search committees this past academic year was very successful. The results produced a wonderful cadre of new faculty. I am very pleased that these individuals have joined our ranks and want to extend a warm welcome each. I look forward to the quality, energy, and diversity they bring to their discipline and to the larger academic community.

Jacqueline R. Baird - Instructor of Mathematics. She received her M.Ed. from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Belinda A. Bernum - Visiting Assistant Professor of Communication. Ms. Bernum received her Master's degree from Pennsylvania State University.
James Bilitski - Assistant Professor of Computer Science. Mr. Bilitski received his Master's degree in software engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Aparna S. Bulusu - Assistant Professor of Communication. She is completing her doctorate at the University of Memphis.
Dawn M. Cable - Visiting Instructor of Mathematics. Ms. Cable received an M.A. from the University of Pittsburgh. She recently taught at the Cambria County Area Community College and Allegany College of Maryland.
Daniel Frederick - Visiting Instructor of Computer Science. He received his C.A.S. and M.S. from the University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Jonathan P. Gonder - Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs and Associate Professor of Music. Dr. Gonder received his doctorate in musical arts in piano performance from the University of Michigan. He recently served as a senior administrator at Sullivan County Community College.
Elizabeth M. Hoffman - Instructor of Mathematics. Ms. Hoffman received her M.S. from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Karen Ijams - Assistant Professor of Communication. She received her doctorate from Wayne State University. She taught at Northeastern Illinois University.
Dr. John W. Maher - Visiting Assistant Professor of Geography. Dr. Maher received his doctorate from the University of Maryland. He taught at Salisbury State University.
Dr. Maher M. Murad - Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering Technology. Dr. Maher received his doctorate from the University of Toledo. He recently taught at Bucknell University.
Jonathan Ritz - Assistant Professor of English Writing/Writing Director. Mr. Ritz is finishing his doctorate at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He recently taught at Concordia University.
Eric C. Schwerer - Assistant Professor of English Writing. Mr. Schwerer received his M.F.A. from the University of Iowa and is currently completing his doctorate at Ohio University.
Jeffrey L. Webb - Assistant Professor of Music. Mr. Webb received his M.M. from Binghamton University.
