Services For Alumni

The Pitt-Johnstown Career Services office provides career planning and placement services to alumni free of charge.

For those looking to change careers or to enroll in graduate or professional school, the career information library and individual career counseling sessions are available.
For those seeking new or different positions, job hunting assistance is available. A variety of publications on job hunting, resume preparation, and job interviewing are available.
Individual appointments can be scheduled for resume critiques and job search advice.

The "Big E" Job Referral system is available to all alumni. To register or re-register, contact us and we will enroll you in the system, jcareers@pitt.edu or 814-269-7120. Or fill out the Big "E" enrollment form online and email it to jcareers@pitt.edu.

The University's Career Services Office in Pittsburgh provides its services to Pitt-Johnstown students and alumni free of charge up to one year after graduation. Go to http://www.careers.pitt.edu/ or call (412) 648-7130. Alumni can post their resumes in Pitt-Oakland's electronic resume books on the FutureLinks system. They are accessed on an on-going basis by employers who are attempting to find job applicants. You can sign up for FutureLinks at www.pittfuturelinks.com.

Alumni are encouraged to complete and return by email the attached Follow-Up survey forms. Please be aware that the Follow-Up survey form is confidential. However, if you choose to complete the Alumni Status form, the information you provide will be available in the Career Services office to assist in supplying career information to students and Alumni.
