     Erin Eaton is entering her second season as the assistant women's basketball coach at Pitt-Johnstown.  In her first year, the Lady Cats finished with an 18-12 overall record, an eight-game improvement from the previous season.  Pitt-Johnstown also posted a 14-6 mark in conference play and advanced to the WVIAC Tournament Semifinals. 
     Along with her duties as the assistant women’s basketball coach, Eaton also serves as the Pitt-Johnstown women’s cross country coach and the women’s golf coach. 
     Eaton spent three seasons as an assistant coach at NCAA Division III Bethany where she was responsible for recruiting, strength and conditioning, and guard development.  In 2007-08, she helped lead Bethany to its best finish since 2004 with a 15-11 overall record, a six-game improvement from the previous season. Bethany finished third in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) regular season standings with a 10-4 mark.
     Eaton’s work with the Bethany defense also helped the program finish tied for 15th in the nation in steals per game at 14.1.  In addition, the Bethany guards ranked among the conference leaders in steals per game in 2007-08.
     During Eaton’s time at Bethany, the Bison guards were named PAC Player of the Week three times, earned seven all-conference honors and one D3hoops.com Great Lakes All-Region award.  She also coached two ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District II selections and a finalist for the V Foundation Comeback Award.
     A graduate of Elmira (NY) College, Eaton was a three-year starter for the Soaring Eagles at point guard where she etched her name throughout the Elmira College record books.  Eaton currently stands third all-time in career assists and fifth all-time in career three-point field goals made.
     A native of Sebring, Ohio, Eaton graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Childhood Education from Elmira in 2005.  She completed her master’s degree in Athletic Coaching Education from West Virginia University in 2008.
