Lady Cat Golf Finishes 9th at WVIAC Northern Regional
10/13/09...Tiffany Aubrey (Butler, Pa.) shot 106 two straight days to place 34th and lead the Lady Cat golf team to a ninth-place finish at Sunday and Monday's WVIAC Northern Regional Tournament at the par-71 Moundsville Country Club in Wheeling, WV. West Liberty (WV) University's Haygen Mowder fired a two-day total of 159 to win medalist honors and lead the Hilltoppers to the team title.
Aubrey led the Lady Cats with a 212. Courtney King (Mount Plerasant, Pa.) placed 39th with a 232, followed by Alicia Basinger (41st, 252) and Autumn Yeo (42nd, 285).
West Liberty won the team championship with a combined score of 672. Ohio Valley (WV) University was second with a 676, while Concord (WV) University (685), Wheeling Jesuit (WV) University (694) and West Virginia Wesleyan College (735) rounded out the top-five. Seton Hill University (745), Fairmont State (WV) University (767), Glenville State (WV) College (805) and PITT-JOHNSTOWN (981) finished sixth through ninth.
The Lady Cats will finish the 2009 fall season on Sunday and Monday at the Seton Hill University Invitational at Hannastown Golf Club in Greensburg, Pa.
Lady Cat Golf Finishes Fifth at St. Vincent Invitational
09/18/09...Tiffany Aubrey (Butler, Pa.) shot an 86 to place seventh and lead the Lady Cat golf team to a fifth-place finish at Friday's Saint Vincent College Invitational. Franklin & Marshall College won the team championship, while Gettysburg College's Leah Tuscano earned the individual medalist honor with an 82.
Aubrey led the Lady Cats with an 86. Courtney King tied for 19th with a 112, followed by Alicia Basinger (t-24, 122), Qiuana Brown (31sr, 146) and Autumn Yeo (33rd, 167).
Franklin & Marshall won the team competition with a total of 351. Gettysburg was second (352), followed by Westminster College (367), Seton Hill University (385), PITT-JOHNSTOWN (466), Saint Vincent (492), West Virginia Wesleyan College (512) and Point Park University (618).
