The Business program provides a contemporary, career-oriented curriculum which includes a sequence of core courses in business, economics, mathematics, computer applications, information systems, and a broad group of social sciences. There are four specific career preparations: Accounting, Finance, Management, and Marketing.

The Pitt-Johnstown Business Department is organized into two separate departments.  The Accounting and Finance Department and the Management and Marketing Departments.  Students enter as a freshman or transfer into the Business Department as a "Pre-Business" student.  For details about Pre-Business as well as the departments within Business, see the links in the Define Your Way box to the right.
