Browser Requirements

The Pitt-Johnstown web site is designed to provide an enjoyable browsing experience from most current web browsing software.  Microsoft Internet Explorer is recommended for the best performance.

Special features within the site may require additional software:

• Flash - Macromedia Flash is required for the home page slide show and the Pitt-Johnstown Virtual Tour.  This browser plug-in is available directly from Macromedia.
  
  
• Webcams - The Pitt-Johnstown Webcams require an Active-X browser plug-in which should load the first time the webcam is accessed.  Note: Security settings within Windows may prevent this plug-in from loading.
  
  
• Document library - Documents in the document library require a variety of application to view - including Adobe Acrobat (available directly from Adobe ), Microsoft Word, etc.
