Students in their first year at the University are housed in the First Year Residence Halls: Hemlock, Hickory, Laurel, Maple, and Oak Halls. These facilities are newly rennovated and feature double rooms arranged in suites, meaning that two rooms share a semi-private bathroom. The First Year Residence halls each feature a Card_Access security system that only allows the students who live in a particular building and University staff to access that building.
