On-Campus Recruiting The most desirable periods of time to recruit at Pitt-Johnstown are September-November and January-March. However, every effort will be made to accommodate recruiters at other times of the year. To schedule a recruiting visit, call (814) 269-7120 or email jcareers@pitt.edu. The On Campus Recruiting form may be filled out and mailed or faxed to us but please call ahead of time and reserve a date due to limited office space for interviews.
The "Big E" Job Referral System Pitt-Johnstown employs a unique job referral system for seniors and alumni. All students are automatically enrolled in this job database referral system when they reach 85 credits. Alumni are permitted to stay on the system for as long as they choose to do so. When the Career Services Office becomes aware of job openings, notices are sent to appropriate candidates with instructions as to whom and how they are to respond. Employers receive resumes from only those candidates who are both interested and available.
To post an opening within your company mail, fax, or e-mail a brief description of the position to us. The responses you receive will generally begin to arrive within 7-10 days of our being contacted.
